What does Search Engine Optimization mean and what are on-page SEO and off-page factors that make your website successful?

Webpages (code) are fetched by a spider, robot, or crawler and once your page is fetched it is loaded into a huge database and the page (code) broken down so that your web pages are indexed and stored ready for retrieval when a user searches for your keywords or key phrases.
Only when stored and indexed is your web page ready for retrieval by the crawling program. The object of Google programming is to ensure your indexed web page delivers quality and relevant search results to the search engine user.
REMEMBER: Google is not your friend because you are not important. Google’s goal is to make search engine users happy.
